The DeckLink HD Extreme is the world's highest quality video capture card and features the maximum possible capture
and playback. With Dual Link 4:4:4 and the new 3 Gb/s SDI connections, the DeckLink HD Extreme works in standard
definition (SD), high definition (HD) and even 2K (2048x1556).

The DeckLink HD Extreme switches between SD & HD SDI, HDMI and analogue component video. With Dual Link 3 Gb/s
SDI built in, the DeckLink HD Extreme can support 4:4:4 and real time 2K capture and playback.
Using a higher speed PCI Express x4 slot, the DeckLink HD Extreme supports full HD keying, 2K film and 1080p
video formats.
The DeckLink HD Extreme also includes 2 channels of balanced XLR audio, 2 channels of AES/EBU digital audio and
support for Windows, Apple Mac OS X and Linux computers. It also supports Blackburst in SD and TriSync in HD
reference input and RS-422 deck control.
With an extremely fast video processor, the DeckLink HD Extreme features a hardware down converter. For the
ultimate in flexibilty, the built-in hardware down converter instantly switches between letterbox, anamorphic
16:9 and centre cut 4:3 video formats.
