For organisations migrating to High Definition (HD) video, voice and content collaboration, the Polycom HDX 8000 Series provides a flexible and robust solution. The clarity of the Polycom HDX 8000 enables users to interact freely and naturally, especially when using H.264 High Profile video. Furthermore, with the embedded multipoint and content sharing capabilities, remote team members can quickly and easily be brought together to collaborate on projects. The Polycom HDX 8000 series consist of two models; the HDX 8000-720 and HDX 8000-1080.

Designed to High Definition (HD) standards, the HDX 8000 family utilises Polycom HD Voice technology to convey voices and sounds free from distortion, and Polycom StereoSurround audio technology to separate room sounds into left and right channels, giving an immediate sense of the physical location of opposite-end participants.
