The PCS-G70P video communications system is the latest solution to meet the needs of high-end users. By adopting the H.263 video codec 4CIF format, the PCS-G70P produces image resolution comparable to that of standard TV broadcasts. The PCS-G70P has an optional 6-way internal MCU (multipoint control unit) that supports simultaneous multipoint videoconferences between itself and up to five other endpoints. Other key features of the PCS-G70P include a site-name display function, support for up to 5 monitors that display far-end sites in addition to the main monitor and dual-camera input which can be used to provide more video coverage.
