Introduction

The Osprey-530 includes SDI video with embedded audio in a 64-bit PCI-X card format. Designed for the streaming media professional, the Osprey-530 offers a combination of SDI digital and analogue inputs for live or on-demand streaming. The Osprey-530 supports closed caption extraction from SDI and analogue inputs as well as enhanced audio/video synchronisation. The selected audio/video inputs are also redirected to the analogue audio/video outputs for real time monitoring. This effectively provides real time digital-to-analogue conversion of the audio/video inputs. The Osprey-530 includes a breakout cable for audio video inputs and a special audio video output cable.

With the Osprey-530, users can create professional-quality streaming video anytime, anywhere from most video sources – from a professional video camera with SDI output, to the latest camcorder with analogue output.
